Vehicle Handover
If you have decided to give motorhoming or caravanning a go, this is what can you expect from HireMe to help your hiring experience be all that you want from this kind of holiday.
Once you have chosen the motorhome or caravan you like, specified the upgrades you would like and checked the 'Availability Calendar', you are ready to either email your hire request or call us to book your vehicle. Once your booking is made we ringfence that vehicle so you know exactly which vehicle you will get.
On the day we will check the vehicle prior to collection and clean it inside and out. Once the paperwork is done with you, our trained staff will then spend about an hour explaining how the caravan or motorhome works so you leave us understanding your vehicle (This is in fact the same thorough handover we give to all our Sales customers when purchasing a vehicle from us).
The vehicles come equipped with all the hardware you need to operate the caravan or motorhome. This includes gas bottles, battery, mains lead, water containers and waste containers. You just need to bring your personal belongings such as clothing, bedding, cutlery, crockery and any cooking utensils. We do supply a gas kettle in all our hire vehicles.
Our shop is fully stocked with any extras you may wish to purchase and our staff will advise you as to which model is best for you.
Once you're away in any of our hire fleet you have the security of knowing that we have a helpline available 7 days a week during office hours which can talk you through almost all technical emergencies.
Upon your return, we will inspect the vehicle with you for condition and cleanliness, and within about 15 minutes you're on your way home - it's as easy as that!
